Retail (Cash Register) Software

Following, you can find some brief information on retail software, which will be supplied by us, based on your operational needs and requirements.

All software is developed by our partner, TERA Software, and is being used on more than 12K pos systems in Türkiye and countries like TRNC, Azerbaijan, Iraq, Egypt, Morocco, Senegal and Germany.

ArtPOS Retail Software Core

This is the master software that paces your retail system, the interface between your store and your customer.

 

This software, as standard, offers basic sales operations as well as other sales-support operations and custom operations based on your needs. Here are a few of them:

  • Basic sales by reading item barcodes, 2D codes or RF-ID tags and sales slip printing.

  • Item returns with proper legal document printing.

  • Various sale discounts. These can be based on specific date, day of week or hours.

  • Customer Loyalty operations (additional discounts, point collection etc.)

  • On-line payment device integration. Credit card slips can be printed along the sales slip.

  • Foreign currency acceptance.

  • Electronic invoice systems integration in some countries.

  • Fiscal operations and legal reports for fiscal systems (currently for Türkiye and Germany. Egypt will be next.)

  • Double cash drawer management.

ArtControl Cash Register Management Software

This feature helps managing cash registers in your store from a single point. This single point can be the store itself or all the stores and cash registers can optionally be managed centrally from head office.

Using this feature, you can...

  • Define cash registers to be used.

  • Configure cash registers.

  • Define cashiers and sales persons.

  • Define security schemas for cashiers.

  • Define store discount plan. 

  • Define payment types and exchange rates for foreign currencies.

  • Define fast selling items.

  • Define promotion options, configure promotion parameters (optional feature).

Apart from these, you can define your items with their specifics. Most companies prefer to send this information from their central databas, but, this also gives flexibility to store operations.

ArtReports In-Store Reports

This is a basic reporting module which gives detailed information about the store operation.

 

Report set includes:

  • Daily closure reports

  • Cash drawer reports

  • Salesperson reports

  • Item based sales reports

Operational Support Software Plug-Ins

Apart from ordinary software modules, there are plenty of plug-in modules which can be added to your system anytime you need. This way, you don't have to buy features you don't need, and, when you need them you can obtain these plug-in modules at a reasonable cost.

Here are some exaples of commonly used plug-in modules:

​

  • Definition of items, their properties and promotions at head office, and sending to the store and cash register automatically, on-line.

  • Central management of stores and cash registers.

  • Automatic sending of full cash register operational data to head office, on-line.

  • Integration with back-office ERP systems, both on-line or off-line. We have integration with almost every local ERP system. We also have integration with SAP (6) and Oracle (7) systems.

  • Integration with electronic invoicing providers. (This feature is valid in Türkiye, based on local fiscal regulations. We collaborate and have integration with almost all electronic invoice service providers.)

  • Tax-free sales for tourists. We have both on-line and off-line integration with Tax-Free service providers like Global Blue (4) and Planet (5).

  • Customer Loyalty Module. Using this module, you will be able to store your customer's information and profile in a database located centrally, and, this information will be used on-line at the cash register to identify the customer and decide the type of promotion to be applied. Promotions can be configured for customer specifics like brth date, gender, age, proffession etc.

  • Promotion Cloud. This module unifies your promotions. All promotion request (either from your cash register or from in store mobile terminal or from your on-line web site) will be processed and replied centrally. therefore, whenever you define a new promotion, it will be available on all of your sale platforms.

  • Central Item Return Module. With this module, item returns will be managed easily on-line. Upon a return request, the original transaction can be shown at the cashiers display and item(s) to be returned can be selected easily. the system will automatically calculate the refund fee. Using this module, customers can shop anywhere, return anywhare, even if they bought it on your web site (additional feature).

  • Integration with local promotion providers like Paro (6), Hopi (2) and  Zubizu (3). Your own promotion system will also run in coordination with these providers.

  • Foreign language support. The system can be configured to run on different languages. Turkish being the default, English, French, German, Arabic and Farsi languages are available. Other languages can also easily be provided upon request.
